hello mam this is vikas..I am sure you do not have an idea who i am! well anyways just to remind you a bit i was in in MJMC 1st year. the new batch last year! Well i was! i mean i dropped out of some reason and i am no longer in AIMC although i am still in touch with the teachers.. Basicaly the bottom line is that Abhijit chakrborty sir has advised me to start looking for work immediately and spend some time in the industry instead of waiting for the next session and get enrolled somewhere else. Plus i have around 5 months to explore until the next session begins..the point is that i am still not sure if i really want to start working or go back to my masters. But i still hav time so i can probably experiment a bit and probably do my masters later on! I am very interested in Radio and seriously looking for internships in radio stations. The teachers are sort of helping me and telling me that they will let me know if any refrences. The fact that i dropped out in the middle of the course leaves me clueless whether to do radio, PR, corp comm, OR advertising for that matter. All i know is that i want do something which requires more of talking and less of writing! Radio is like fun for me and i keep recording jingles and even got shortlisted till last round in the recently held rj hunt in our college! Anyways so basically do you think i could give it a shot the job you are talking about?? Sir tells me if i break the barrier of getting that first job nobody is going to care what i did or from where i did..I just need a start. Is corporate communication more of a talking job or writing? whats the nature of work?? I really need to get somewhere , atleast an internship somewhere! If you have any suggestions where i could try for RADIO? or if you think i might fit in this job you are offering please let me know!
I know i am all confused.. but i cant help it..although i still doubt you if you have realized who this is! Anyways if nothing else atleast give me your feedback over what i hav been trying to explain you. Afterall you must have spend so many years in this industry and you know how it works...
Thanking You
Vikas
