The San Joaquin Math Teachers’ Circle is starting soon! It provides monthly problem-solving opportunities for middle school mathematics teachers and brings together local mathematicians and mathematics educators from the University of the Pacific and CSU Stanislaus. Professors from both institutions will join sessions throughout the year to share rich mathematical problems, model creative problem-solving, and support teachers in gaining content knowledge to strengthen classroom practice.
Although the program is geared toward grades 6–9 teachers, educators from any grade level who are interested in exploring mathematics in a collaborative setting are encouraged to participate. Each session offers hands-on problem-solving, classroom-ready strategies, and a supportive community that inspires curiosity and collaboration.
