The PRISEAL International Committee is delighted to share the call for papers (CfP) for the 6th edition of the “Publishing and Presenting Research Internationally: Issues for Speakers of English as an Additional Language” (PRISEAL) conference hosted by the American University of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, on 25 – 27 November 2026. The theme of the conference is: Academic equity, emerging technologies and the politics of knowledge production.
Please submit conference proposals (max 250 words), along with a short bio with contact information and indication of in-person or virtual format and language preference to PRIS...@gmail.com by March 1, 2026.
For more information and the full CfP, do check the conference website and the attached pdf. The conference is hybrid and welcomes submissions from scholars across the globe engaged in work on or related to scholarly knowledge production and dissemination.

This is to let you know that the new deadline for PRISEAL6 is April 30 (see original CfP below). We have made the change to allow for other opportunities for publicity and public engagement leading up to the conference. You will most likely note that the deadline on the website is March 30 – but it will soon be changed to April 30.
Sadly, this extended deadline CfP is coming during a time of further conflict and violence in the Middle East. We are thinking of our colleagues at AUS, hoping for quick and lasting peace in the region. And we thank again Anoud and her local organising team for all their efforts to make the conference happen.
