I am writing to share with you that our new journal, Revista Latinoamericana de Estudios de la Escritura (RLEE), has published its first issue, which can be read here https://wac.colostate.edu/rlee/ . I am currently serving as the General Editor.
The aim of the journal is to promote empirical research on writing on equal grounds for researchers from diverse linguistic backgrounds and geographical areas. For that reason, the journal publishes contributions in English, Spanish, or Portuguese.
We are currently seeking submissions for our next issue. I have attached the call for papers for your information, and I would like to ask for your help in two ways. First, we would be delighted if you might consider submitting a manuscript. At this point, we are seeking to diversify our pool of authors, and it would an honor to have a contribution from you. Also, we believe that given our initial stage, it may help us reach wider audiences, by publishing contributions from Europe or Canada. In return, the journal may help you reach global audiences and be read in different locations around the globe. Our journal has the academic endorsement of ALES (our Latin American Association of Writing Studies) and is published by The WAC Clearinghouse.
Another way to help us at this stage would be sharing this call with your colleagues and graduate students, especially our colleagues from PRISEAL. I avoided sending the call directly to the mailing list because I understand that its purpose is not to promote topics external to the group.
