Participants Needed for Dissertation Research

Dear Colleagues,

You are invited to participate in a research study conducted by a researcher from the Department of Clinical Psychology at Fielding Graduate University, Santa Barbara, California (Principal researcher, Fielding Clinical Psychology PhD candidate Grier H. Potter, MBA, MA; Faculty Advisor Fielding Clinical Psychology Faculty Amy Taylor, PhD, ABPP). This study aims to investigate the childhood experiences of people with doctorates.  

If you volunteer to participate in this study, you will be asked to complete an anonymous survey regarding your experiences in childhood.  Participation is expected to take no more than 20 minutes.  We recognize that time is a very scarce resource for many and, accordingly, have attempted to make participation as time-efficient as possible. In addition, by participating in the research, you will have the opportunity to enter your email in a raffle for one of five $50 Visa gift cards. Your participation is voluntary, and you may withdraw participation at any time, without impacting your eligibility for the raffle.

All information obtained during this study is strictly confidential and anonymous. Your answers to the questions contained in the survey will not require that you disclose any identifying information.  No personally identifiable demographic information will be requested or collected.  Data will be analyzed only in aggregate.  Access to all materials and information provided will be strictly limited to the investigator. Your cooperation and willingness to assist in this research is greatly appreciated.
