Aiko Contributions

Hey all

After some great discussions today with Andy, I have a much better
understanding where to move to now in terms of contributing to the
Aiko Platform.

So in saying that, my first contribution is going to be a Luci Aiko
configuration editor.

Actually my first and second.

We had a quick look today and it appears that there is a file browser
available within the Luci UI, somewhere. Haven't had a chance to look
into it too much, hoping for more time tomorrow. If the file browser
doesn't already have it, I'm going to see if i can build in a raw file
editor as my first step.

The second step is to build a configuration page under the Aiko menu
in the general UI. This one is going to basically be a key-value pair
editor for all of the general Aiko settings.

I'm going to fork out the code on GitHub, so in the coming days i
should have the basics in there.

I'm also going to setup a VirtualBox image using Ubuntu as base for a
development environment. This is because (for me) trying to setup a
dev environment on windows is proving to be a real [insert expletive
here]. Not sure when i'll be able to get that done, but that's what
i'm heading for.

Thanks again Andy for ALL the tips and pointers today. I'm now all
prepped to dive headlong into this baby!!!
