Voting - Election

Dear colleagues,

I'm contesting for the post of "executive member" of the Faculty association. I will not make any claims of what I envision - as many factors play a role in what the faculty association can achieve. A few willing and well meaning persons may be able to achieve lesser than what a dynamic team can. For the moment, I can only say that I will work towards faculty welfare and hope to make our institute a "faculty encouraging" workplace with fair and transparent systems in place.

I am sure that we will all identify the right candidates who will represent us but pray that our prejudices don't cloud our judgement on whom to vote for. I also believe that a fresh set of office bearers (as many as possible) will infuse new energy into this "young" association which already has members wanting to quit. 

Looking forward to a large turnout and an emphatic victory for a good team.

I'm sure you are receiving a number of mails with regard to the upcoming elections and will keep this short.

I did meet some faculty in person but couldn't meet a large number; so do consider this as a personal invitation to cast your vote for me as "Executive Member".

I'm sure the elected representatives will make the "quality of life and work" at AIIMS Bhubaneswar better for each one of us.

I would like to thank you all for participating in the democratic process and electing me and a new team. 

I also congratulate all the contestants irrespective of the results as without a contest, public opinion will not be expressed/evident.

The actual hard work begins now and hope we can stand up to your expectations.
