FAAIIMS Accounts

Dear Colleagues,

We are thankful for giving us the opportunity to serve this august body of FAAIIMS. We have tried our best to work for the interests of the Faculty. However, if our words or deeds have in any way hurt anybody, we apologise for the same.

The accounts of the FAAIIMS from its inception is as follows:

1.       The total number of members in FAAIIMS are 197. Undertaking for automatic deduction of FAAIIMS annual fees from the month of April every year, has been done by 155 members. 32 members have paid their fees by cash every year. 9 members have not yet cleared their dues.

2.       The total money in the account is INR 3,67,737. Out of this, INR 2,05,000 has been donated by Director madam (INR 1,00,000), Dr. Saroj Mazumdar (INR 1,00,000) and by Dr. Sree Mishra. This amount of INR 2,05,000 is meant to be spent for CoVID as per the instructions of the CoVID Working Committee. Therefore, the total money in FAAIIMS account at present (excluding INR 2,05,000) is INR 1,62,737. The first and the last pages of the passbook is attached herewith.

3.       Apart from this, with the approval of GB, money has been kept in 3 Fixed Deposit Accounts of INR 2,00,000, INR 3,00,000 and INR 3,00,000 making a total of INR 8,00,000 (attached herewith).

4.       The 2 FDs of INR 3,00,000 each are giving monthly dividends, totalling INR 2935.

5.       The other FD of INR 2,00,000 will mature in 2022.

6.       The auditing of FAAIIMS accounts had not been done since the beginning of FAAIIMS. The same has been done, from the beginning till March 2020. The audited statement is attached herewith.
