Problem with install external codes

Hi everyone,

I'm new to Aiida and here is a stupid question, which I've tried many times.

The step of configuring the computer has been completed, when I use  "verdi computer test cluster" to test the remote cluster, everything is fine. 

However, when I test the code "verdi code test vasp", it shows that "Critical: validation failed: Could not connect to the configured computer to determine whether the specified executable exists.". 

This seems to be a problem with the connection to the remote computer, what configuration should I check?

Hi Lei,

This is a bug in the check itself, the connection to the computer is probably just fine. A fix has already been merged to the main branch but it hasn't been release yet (see https://github.com/aiidateam/aiida-core/pull/5787). If you are installing from the repository, you van update the branch and it should be fixed. Otherwise you will have to wait for the next release, but for the time being you can ignore the error.
