Hello AI and Finance community,
We are excited to announce the Women in AI and Finance workshop and networking reception at this year’s ACM International Conference on AI in Finance 2024 (ICAIF’24). The workshop will take place at New York University’s Brooklyn NY campus on 15th November 2024. Scheduled during dinner time, the event is designed to encourage maximum attendance without conflicting with other technical sessions.
This workshop focuses on fostering mentor-mentee relationships through roundtable discussions, featuring a lineup of 10 mentors from both academia and industry leadership. We invite you to join us in person, connect with professionals from the field, and engage in meaningful discussions about navigating a career in the intersecting domains of AI and Finance.

About the Workshop:
Our goal at the Women in AI and Finance workshop is to create a diverse, inclusive environment that supports individuals as they navigate the evolving intersection of AI and Finance. This workshop aims to support women by providing an interactive platform for mentorship and networking in the domain of AI applications within the financial sector.
Through discussions with successful women leaders in the finance industry, attendees will explore career challenges, share mentorship experiences, and develop valuable professional connections.

- 5:50 - 6:00 pm: Opening
- 6:00 - 6:15 pm: Mentors Introduction
- 6:15 - 6:45 pm: Icebreaker session between mentees and mentors
- 6:45 - 7:45 pm: Networking with a Bingo and Dinner
- 7:45 - 8:15 pm: Open Mic: Thoughts and quick reflections
- 8:15 - 9:00 pm: Optional mingling opportunity
