Dear Colleague,
We are excited to invite submissions to the NeurIPS 2025 Workshop on “Generative AI in Finance”, which will be held in person on December 6 or 7 in San Diego as part of the NeurIPS 2025 conference.
See the website for detailed information: https://sites.google.com/view/neurips-25-gen-ai-in-finance/home
This interdisciplinary workshop explores the growing synergy between Machine Learning (ML) and Finance.More specifically, this workshop aims to foster cross-disciplinary collaboration at the intersection of generative AI and finance, a high-stakes domain where the integration of domain expertise is essential to the safe and effective deployment of machine learning technologies.
Topics of interest include (but are not limited to):
Scenario generation related to finance (e.g., high-dimensional time series, volatility surfaces, limit order dynamics, financial networks)
Data scarcity, privacy, and confidentiality-preserving generation
Foundation models governed by market structural constraints
Robust uncertainty quantification under regime shifts
Integrated decision-making: from samples to actions (e.g., hedging, market-making, portfolio construction)
Societal and regulatory implications of generative AI in finance
Benchmarks and metrics for synthetic financial data
Methodological work related to GenAI in finance, even without direct application to financial data
We encourage submissions from researchers across ML, finance, applied probability, and statistics, as well as practitioners from financial industry, regulations, and public sector organizations.
In addition to the poster session and presentation of accepted submissions, the workshop will feature several keynote talks, panel discussions, and plenty of opportunities to interact among participants.
Submissions are limited to at most 4 pages of the main body (excluding references), in the NeurIPS conference proceedings format (please see https://neurips.cc/Conferences/2025/CallForPapers).
Submissions are non-anonymous and non-archival. We welcome submissions based on preliminary working progress, work under review, or work that has already been published in prior venues. In particular, papers based on work under review or prior publication are allowed and encouraged. For papers based on preliminary working progress, submission to the workshop will not preclude future journal or conference publication.
All accepted papers will be presented in an elaborate poster session at the workshop. In addition, several selected papers will be chosen as “spotlight” for oral presentations.
Submissions should be made via OpenReview: https://openreview.net/group?id=NeurIPS.cc/2025/Workshop/GenAI_in_Finance
Submission Deadline: August 31, 2025 (Anywhere on Earth)
Notification of Acceptance: By September 22, 2025
Workshop Date: December 6 or December 7, 2025
If you have any questions or would like additional information, please feel free to reach out to us via: genaifin...@gmail.com.
Please feel free to share this call with your colleagues and collaborators. We look forward to your submissions and hope to see you in December at NeurIPS 2025!
