Dear friends,

Our efforts of cleaning up our homes have had an impact not just in our own countries and neighborhoods, but all around the world - we are giving courage to each other and to millions of people who want things to change. It seems one year of acting is not enough, many of you have already told us that they will be organizing another cleanup action next year. Next year, there will be a World Cleanup 2013 - a year when we are letting go of our limits. This will be a year of inviting even more people at home and in all other countries to join us! There will be no timeframe - the whole year will be dedicated to engaging people in all countries to act. As soon as you have decided the time and place of your action - let us know!

Still, we have to be honest about one thing. Cleaning up the trash is not something we want to keep on doing forever, is it? Now that we have raised the issue in our homes and have the positive experience of cooperation, let's take it to the next level. Let's start to look at the root causes and work together to bring permanent change.

For this we are organizing two connected events in Estonia next year -

Clean World Brainstorm - 29-31 January 2013

Inviting world’s brightest eco-thinkers, producers, designers, waste handlers and policy-makers to come together and draw up a Clean World action plan - what should be the next local and global steps towards waste-free world? What improvements could be made in tax policies, in the production processes, in design? How to rebuild the economy, so that the circle of production and consumption, the flow of materials would be complete? So that on one day there will be no such thing as waste or garbage - only resources. It's a big task, but we have to start from somewhere.

This brainstorm will be with very limited amount of places, so we select the attendees very carefully. If you know someone who should be invited, we would be very grateful if you could send your suggestion (persons name, e-mail, address and a short introduction) to: kersti.k...@letsdoitworld.org

Clean World Conference 2013, 1-3 February 2013

Inviting together the network and friends of Let’s Do It! movement across the world to discuss the implementation of Clean World plan and to figure out our next steps as a movement for a clean and healthy planet.

We have the great pleasure to invite you to the „Let´s do it! Clean World Conference 2013“, which will take place on 1st-3rd February 2013 in Tallinn, Estonia.

We invite you to come and figure out the next steps that could be taken together with our teams in 96 countries and with millions of volunteers – what can we do to start turning things around? We will share the already existing best practices and figure out new together.

We will make a plan. A realistic, simple, quick action plan to move towards the Clean Planet. How to transform our countries and our regions for good – so that we all can become the citizens of the Clean Planet!

The program of the conference will soon be there but we’ll promise – it will be inspiring and practical.

The organizers will cover your accommodation and food during the conference. You only need to arrange your transportation to and from Tallinn, Estonia. And it is strongly recommended that you arrive already on 31st of January, as the conference will start early on 1^st of February. The accommodation will be organized for you starting from 31st of January.
