We are calling for participants to The 4th University Scholars Leadership Symposium which will be in Manila, Philippines this August 1 to 7, 2013.
(The USLS is one of the 3 Youth in Action Programs endorsed by the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs, New York.)
We would like to share this opportunity to collaborate and discuss global issues with 1,000 youth leaders from prestigious Universities all over the world.
Moreover, they will get to learn from the world’s most inspiring and noble people, The CNN Heroes, Ms. Robin Lim (2012) and Ms. Pushpa Basnet (2013).
Together with our CNN Heroes, there will be 10 More Expert Humanitarians who will train the Youth Leaders
in organizing and executing their own Humanitarian Work in their local communities.
And for the application of the knowledge they will gain from the sessions, UNESCO and Humanitarian Affairs will be giving out Seed Money of up to USD 2,000 to those who will present
The Best Project Proposal on the topic of: Fighting Poverty Through Education.
Lastly, for the experiential learning of our delegates, they will have the chance to interact with the marginalized communities in the Philippines through the Learning Journey.
For your convenience, I have attached the event materials (Application Form, Poster, Rates).
