Hallow colleagues and climate change advocators

I am the SADC advisor for the Global Green Grand Fund ( http://www.greengrants.org ) . It is time again for the Next generation Climate  Board to call for proposals for funding. We are looking for youth led groups aiming at addressing climate change issues all over the globe.

 

Before you put a proposal forward please take note of the following:

 

- Global Green Fund provides small grands (between 500- 5000 US$) - Projects requiring more than this are accepted given the grounds of the proposal and its justification

- We are aiming at strengthening networks, raising awareness on climate change among youth and communities

- We  look to support groups that have gone through social injustices and are trying to get their voices heard through green campaigns for example.

- Since the funds are aimed at helping grass root groups establish and raise awareness, we look for the groups that are mostly disadvantages, people who would in normal cases have trouble accessing funds, say groups in villages etc.

- The aim is to get the grass root groups establish and tap into the global networks.

- Gender balanced groups

 

 

Should you know of any such group in your country, please share the knowledge and get that group to fill out the form. Also, attach a Budget to your application. For the youth in other regions, please email me directly and i will direct you to the right adviser.
