The Global Changemakers Euro-Africa Youth Summit 2012 is Officially

Where and when?

The Euro-Africa Youth Summit will take place in Brussels in June 2012.
(The exact dates will be announced in time for the call for
applications.)

Who?

They ’ll be bringing 60 community activists, social entrepreneurs and
volunteers from the two regions – Sub-Saharan Africa and Europe – to
the summit. Applicants must be between 18 and 24 on the first day of
the summit.

In particular, they’re accepting applications from those resident in
the following countries in Sub-Saharan Africa and Europe:

Please note that applicants must have a good command of English.

I have already taken part in a Global Changemakers summit. Can I still apply?

The 60 regular participants must be new Changemakers who haven’t taken
part in previous summits. However, as with all recent summits we will
be bringing 10 existing Global Changemakers (aged 18-25 on the first
day of the summit) to the Euro-Africa Youth Summit as peer
facilitators. They will be asked to apply between 30 January and 17
February as well.

How much does attendance at a Global Changemakers summit cost?

The British Council covers all costs (i.e. travel, visa,
accommodation, meals, training costs) for the selected participants.
