First of all, thank you for your interest in raising awareness about HIV/AIDS in your country.
I will certainly disappoint you by saying that the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB and Malaria only funds country-based proposals for fighting the diseases, and not individual projects like yours. Moreover, according to Global Fund eligibility criteria, Turkey is not eligible for Global Fund grants any more due to its “upper-middle income country” status. The Global Fund was financing a two-year program in Turkey, and a lot was done but more remains to be done. I am enclosing here the last program report for your information.
While I understand that part of your project is the development of a budget and subsequent fund raising activities, I will encourage you to think about activities that do not require much of financial resources. An area you could investigate would be asking some popular artists to perform for free as part of awareness raising campaign. Other examples of low-cost but efficient activities are abundant, and, should you so wish, I could help you accessing those from the Global Fund financed programs.
I would encourage you to liaise with the “Positive Living Association” arzu....@pozitifyasam.org – a very active association of people living with or affected by HIV/AIDS. I strongly believe that direct discussions with people who know the disease from their own personal experiences is much more convincing and “awareness raising” among young people than usual condom distribution/leaflet distribution activities.

Dear Ms./Mrs. Irbe,
We are students from AIESEC Istanbul office that working for a project that aims make university and high school students more conscious about HIV/AIDS. I am responsible for 'Budget' part of the project and I am seeking available resources for HIV/AIDS. I am not asking for support yet, I just want to know availability of max. 5000$ financial resource. Because we have a project template to complete. There will be 7 more projects from other issues (only ours about HIV/AIDS) and board will choose two of them to realise. To convince board, I have to find some reasonable revenues for budget.
