Job/Task Description 1 Regional Capacity Demand & Supply Reconciliation is a monthly running process where Unilever Marketing & Sales countries provide a forecast of planned sales to factories (Sourcing Units). This works with a 24 month rolling forecast. This existing process is now expanded and help is sought to develop the ways of this expansion. This task can be classified as an ‘Intellectual’ task where an intern works with key stakeholders and process owners. Regional Customer Service: Unilever has a strategic ambition to “Win with winning Customers”. There is an explicit responsibility with the supervising manager to deliver absolute world class service levels to 6 key customers: ie Wallmart, Carrefour, Tesco, etc. As this role is a new one (established Feb10), the foundations for monthly performance review processes need to be developed, as well materials to capture best practice in the various countries in the Asia, AMET region.
Job/Task Description 2 Regional Reporting (Collection, analysis and presentation of data).
Job/Task Description 3 Assist in the making of 2 monthly regional reports for customer service AAC.
Job/Task Description 4 Knowledge Management (Collection, analysis and Storage of data)
Job/Task Description 5 Capturing and presentation of best case practices across the region (RCDSR and CS)
Job/Task Description 6 Management and Improvement of several portals (team sites) used in the Region.

Measurable results expected from the intern The intern will be measured on: - Delivering outstanding analysis of our Customer Service elements, both internal and external. - Provided a view, based on Unilever national experiences, a regional way on how we can improve both internal and external best practices. - Have presented to Unilever and potentially our customers (Carrefour, METRO, Tesco, etc) Unilevers potential Customer Service improvements.
Key learning points that the intern might obtain during the internship Learning how the FMCG market works, both from a manufacturers perspective and from a retail perspective
