Red Wings Project aims at caring the residents, especially the elderly in communities. The idea of the project came when we see the busy-working status of the young generation and their inevitable lack of time to care for the old, leaving them to live a life all by their own, lonely. Meanwhile, as citizens in Shanghai, people are generally in need of both a better command of the English language and the knowledge and experience of cross-cultural communication, either to welcome international friends or to survive in foreign countries. They need your HELP & CARE.

Green Power Now
Project Intro:
Green Power Now is a leadership program based on environmental issues for the high school students. The program aims to educate the future generation about the environment and empower them to become environmental and social leaders of their community.
AIESEC interns join the programs and get training from NGO so that they will become international facilitators in the schools. The international facilitators provide the schools which participate in the programs with training & education about pollution, climate change, bio-diversity and sustainable development.
Every participating school will complete their own design about environmental protection under the guidance of the international facilitators during the training, and all the students will have the chance to make their ideas come true!
We will hold an environmental protection exhibition. During this exhibition, the final designing results of students who participant in the project will be displayed. All the partners and sponsors will attend the exhibition as well.
Project vision:
◊Encourage independent thinking and design ability
◊Provide the chance to communication with students in China
◊Create a more harmonious environment by educating
◊See the power for changing the world by oneself

I really had a great time here in China Shanghai. From the past moment on I was very well connected to the other trainees in the trainee house and felt welcome here. After the start of my project(Red Wings) I also experienced a new site of Shanghai through my work with the very kind, old people here. They are so nice and wanted to know everything about Germany as well as telling me things about Shanghai. In total it was one of the best experiences in my life by now! Thanks for that!
In total I would recommend this internship, because Shanghai is an amazing city and you can experience so many different ways of Chinese lifestyle in a "small" area. Also my buddy was very helpful and cared a lot about me!Finally I had the opportunity to get in touch with local people through my internship here and that made it a very amazing experience!
