AIESEC UNIVERSITY OF THE PHILIPPINES DILIMAN WANTS YOU!

I'm Megan Cruz, a matching officer from AIESEC University of the Philippines in Diliman. We are currently matching for our Global Village project and we sincerely hope that you could pass this on to your exchange participants.


What is Global Village?
AIESEC University of the Philippines' Global Village is a project based on exchange (PBoX) that aims to educate the youth about globalization, (specifically anchored in the Philippine context) and encourage them to participate in solving global issues.

Internship type: Global Community Development Program (GCDP)

Issue: Effects of globalization and cultural understanding

Objective: Global Village is an international and multicultural celebration of diversity aimed to address the public, most especially the youth, about the importance of world awareness and cultural understanding given the Philippine context.

Duration: six (6) weeks

Location: Metro Manila, Philippines

Number of EPs: 10 (Cycle 1) and 40 (Cycle 2 and 3); maximum of eight (8) per country

Job Description
  • to create a workshop program on globalization and the different ways it affects the Philippines (immersion and training will be provided)
  • to conduct interactive sessions about globalization and your home country in at least ten (10) secondary schools around Metro Manila
  • to promote Global Village in the Philippines through events management and website creation

Cycles
  • Cycle 1: May 21 - June 29
  • Cycle 2: June 4 - July 13
  • Cycle 3: July 16 - August 31
