Dear participant of AIESEC eXchange programs, 

    Greetings from AIESEC SISU (Shanghai International Studies University), Mainland of China. 

    We're sending this email on behalf of  the "Red Wings" project, informing you of our DT TN opportunities. 

Project Introduction: 

    The "Red Wings" project is a health care program aims at the residents living in various communities in Shanghai. 

    The idea of the project came when we see the busy-working status of the young generation and their inevitable lack of time and stamina to care for the old, leaving them to live a life all by their own, lonely. Meanwhile, as citizens in Shanghai, people are generally in need of both a better command of the English language and the knowledge and experience of cross-cultural communication, either to welcome international friends or to survive in foreign countries. 

    AIESEC, with her marvelously large and convenient international network, sure gives us the best resource to make a change. With your participation along with the cultural traits you take with everywhere you go, we can provide the residents with a window to the world. Also, your effort on bring your knowledge on health management to the communities will not only give you an opportunity to make some impact to the local people, but also will help you establish a comprehensive understanding of the life and culture in China. 

Job Description: 

    1. Delivering training courses of health care, cultural education, English, etc. to the communities. 

    2. Designing and organizing celebrating events for Chinese traditional of foreign festivals in the communities. 

    3. Raising sponsors, NGO partners, and foundations to financially support the project. 

    4. Attending trainings or volunteering in an NGO. 

    5. Attending all LC events and all project related events. 

Duration: 

    Our TN's start in early September, and require interns with 6-week duration minimum. 

Our Reception: 

    1. Accommodation is provided with a rental fee of ¥250 / week. 

    2. AIESEC SISU will provide you with ¥200 as internship subsidy. 

    3. Various outings and activities designed by your Trainee Buddies.

Job/Task Description 1 The trainee will be stay in either local hostel or the LC trainee house. The expenses is about 250RMB-300 RMB per week,which need to be covered by trainee himself. Red Wings project is about organizing health care, cross-culture education, English training courses, and fun events in communities to improve living quality of residents especially the old.
Job/Task Description 2 The trainee will deliver training courses about health care, cultural education, English etc. in communities. You will work for 1.5~4 hours per class and 15 hours per week in total.
Job/Task Description 3 The trainee will raise sponsorship, NGO partners, and foundations to financially support the project. You will work for 6 hours per week for this part.
Job/Task Description 4 The trainee will design and organize 3 events about Chinese traditional festival in local communities.
Job/Task Description 5 The trainee is required to attend NGO training or to be NGO volunteer at least once.
Job/Task Description 6 The trainee are required to attend all LC events and all project related events including team meeting every week (online or face to face) to exchange ideas on project and plans.

Measurable results expected from the intern a) No of residents educated and level of knowledge improved by survey; b) good feedback from community schools; c) evaluation on the teaching quality and student feedback by your language –paired person; d) 80% attendance rate of all the meetings; e) reports about their work & life experience in China;
