Hello everyone. Pls forward this mail to LC members, or any person, who might be interested (friends, etc) :) 

I'm writing to you regarding another GCDP opportunity for summer with EVS.

TNs are in Romania (CLuj-Napoca, Lupo's LC :) )
Internship period:
1 option: 1.07 - 15.08  (2 TNs available)
2 option: 1.08 - 15.09  (1TN available)

90% of flight covered, food, accommodation, transportation, mobile card covered + pocket money monthly.

The profile of the volunteer is a person who has previous experience in working with children/underpriviledged children or experience in social work in general. They have to be motivated and have good english skills. We encourage AIESEC members to apply for it.

Department the intern will be working educational
Job Description1Supervising the children during their daily activities within the foundation, making sure they are safe and that they enjoy their participation.
Job Description2Assist and support the children with their homeworks and organizing weekly non-formal English classes and create activities and games that improve their logical thinking.
Job Description3 Organize recreational activities for the children (eg. Parties, paiting classes, competitions, presentations/debates)
Job Description4Organize presentations about the own country and culture.
Job Description5Assist at personal and professional guidance activities.
Job Description6Contributing in making the evaluation of the project at its finalization along with the other facilitators.
Measurable results expected from the internDelivering all the sessions during the Summer School that are appointed and contributing to the success of the project.
Preparation required from the intern before arrivalContacting the project coordinator for preparation of the activities in advance and come up with different innovative ideas for activities.

Learning points that the intern might obtain during the internshipTraining and facilitating, communication, presentation skills, working with children in a pleasant, creative, multicultural environment, oriented towards encouraging life-long learning. Besides professional knowledge, the intern will experience a personal development in a foreign country that will charm the intern with its customs and traditions.
Additional information a potential candidate may require for the InternshipThis project is founded by the European Voluntary Service and it has special requirements of weekly evaluation documents which need to be filled in time. Also, food and accomodation is provided, and internal transportation for 1 route.
