we have wonderful GCDP internships for your EPs this holiday. come

TN-In-UG-KY-2011-242 TEENS uganda. an NGO that works with teenagers
helping them to learn more about HIV/AIDS, peer education, guidance
and counselling
TN-In-UG-KY-2011-255 Mengo Youth Development Link (MYDEL)
The Intern will arrange and present sessions to the
various categories of children especially the once street kids in
relation to behavioral change to facilitate rehabilitation.
Teaching orphan and under privileged children in
early primary school classes. The range of subjects may vary from
English, Science, and Mathematics among others. Flexibility is
crucial.
Administrative work e.g preparing reports and
policies, networking to build contacts and fundraising, liaising with
interested groups and individuals to set up new services.
assisting in vocational training especially with
computer skills, tailoring, wood carving among others.
TN-In-UG-KY-2011-251 Kawempe youth center
teaching of other basic subjects like English,
mathematics, science, environmental studies and carryout reading
sessions to the primary children in rural communities
Prepare lesson notes and Organize learning materials.
the intern will also develop a suitable teaching method of the
children.
Discuss output and methods with fellow teachers and
supervisor and access the performance of the students through work
assignments
carry out activities indirectly related to classroom
work but related to youth (general) education.ie Adolescent Sexual
Reproductive Health (ASRH), hygiene, etc
computer training and usage of the childern and community.
helping students with extra-curricular activities
like sports, drama or music lessons. be involved in activities such as
drawing, story telling, painting, singing, role plays with the
children
