ACTWIT
Clarification
- Largest
People AIESEC+
Network
Some
days ago, a
"clarification"
was
submitted that ACTWIT is
not
"official" initiative. Considering
that some
parts of that
"clarification"
were incorrect
and distorted
perception
about ACTWIT, the team issued another note. ACTWIT is
really, thank
god, not
related to any
"official"
structures,
as it was
communicated
in the
beginning. ACTWIT is open for collaboration and
partnership
with anyone,
but the
project was
independent at
the start.
Based on
Internet
traffic
statistics,
for today ACTWIT is the
biggest separate site in the world that
gather AIESEC Alumni
worldwide.
ACTWIT is
originally
independent,
bottom-up
initiative
organized by a
group of
individuals
who are
factually
famous AIESEC Alumni.
In addtion,
these alumni (www.aiesecalumni.net team) have a very positive and
successful
experience in
the
organization
of social
interaction
platform for alumni
and senior
AIESEC people.
ACTWIT's goal is to become a TRUE and long-living social network,
where its
development
will be
determined by
active A-user
participants,
and NOT by any "official" entities. That
is why control
from the side
of any small
"official"
groups are
simply opposed
to ACTWIT strategy.
As an
advantage of
this approach,
active
participation
in ACTWIT for
all AIESEC+ people will
be always free
of any
membership
fees.
All AIESEC+ people
may become
developers of ACTWIT and be factual beneficiars of the
Network.
ACTWIT site DON'T
USE brand of
anyone in its platform, settings and
code, but it
is open for
all A-users to
create any
content and
share it with
other
A-users.
ACTWIT was
founded by AIESEC
Alumni as a help for Alumni and all
AIESEC+
people. Communication
between alumni
and AIESEC+ people
should NOT be
anyhow
limited,
especially
with
bureaucratic
structures.
ACTWIT is the
Network, not
the
Organization.
Good global
network for
all AIESEC+ people is the biggest expectation of the
current time. ACTWIT Initiative is based on these expectations and
follows them. ACTWIT itself
is the
proposal and
can be a good
platform where
we all can
discuss these
proposals and
realize our
ideas on
practice.

Some
years ago a
group of AIESEC
Alumni from Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan founded "BEST
EXCHANGER OF
THE YEAR AWARD".
The GOAL is awarding of AIESEC LC Members
who made the
greatest
contribution
to
implementation
of AIESEC's
International
Internship
Programs. A
special fund
was
established
for this
purpose. BEX
AWARD is a
special to
finance
winner's
educational or
study tours.
This Alumni
intitiative
became a good
example of
cooperation
between AIESEC and Alumni.
Whether in
