Recently
AiesecAlumni.net
started a new
project based on "
activating
grid" concept
(evolution of social
networking) -
ACTWIT
(
www.actwit.com).
This projects is
bottom-up social
venturing ("
activating
grid")
initiative specially
for AIESEC + Alumni
and their trustred
circles,
professional and
life communities.
All registrants of
the network are
active participants
in building the
platform and
realizing positive
social and business
activities.
ACTWIT
is a project of
AiesecAlumni.net
team and has the
following goals:
(1) Establishment of
unified modern
Internet-place of
AIESEC
alumni (as
well as former
active
AIESEC-involved
interns and trusted
associates) and
senior AIESECers of
different countries,
langage, historical
and up-to-date
integration
territories.
(2) Establishment of
an open platform,
allowing alumni to
invite other their
social circles (such
as colleagues,
friends, associates,
partners, family
members, etc.) for
discussions and
collaboration. At
the same time,
taking into
consideraition
growing interest to
the the network,
AIESEC+
people will
become a core
community for
ACTWIT's
whole development
and have necessary
confidentiality and
secrecy to
communicate with
each other.
(3) Development of
effective
interaction formats
on business- and
socially-oriented
ideas and projects
(start-ups,
ventures) of
ACTWIT's
participants. The
title of
ACTWIT,
in fact, reflects
the idea of
activating changes,
undertaken by the
networks' members,
positively affecting
social and business
development and the
corresponding
changes in the
globe.
AiesecAlumni.net
site will be a core
community for the
whole
ACTWIT
platform. Based on
"Communities" module
ACTWIT launched
a service of
structured
discussions (forums)
allowing to separate
different discussion
threads on topic
boards. These
structures
discussions will
combine features of
both internet
bulletin boards and
modern social media.
Currently,
ACTWIT
is on a stage of
integration testing.
Registration is on
at
www.actwit.com.
For the purpose of
efficient
development of the
network it's
recommended to focus
todays on inviting
active alumni (from
different
countries); this
provides central
development of
AiesecAlumni.net
at
ACTWIT.
Network service
(different blocks
and menus) is
described only in
English, though
conversations are
available on ANY
language (a modern
unified coding is
used). Language
packages will
implemented later as
ACTWIT
is originally
designed as a truly
international
platfrom.

AIESEC alumni it's
better to carry at
forums (communities)
of kind of "

chapter). The
platform is going to
be open in the
future that is why
saturation of the
network's open space
with aiesec- и
aiesecalumni-topic
ma causing obstacles
for this goal.
2. During the
registration process
please
ENTIRELY
fill in
ALL
the fields (not
many) at the start
page of
www.actwit.com
(!!!) and, later,
upload a photo
(size, < 500
kB). If you have
insurmountable
difficulties, please
write
actwi...@gmail.com.
3. During the
registration process
the field «Full
Name» must be filled
with
your
real Name
Surname
(words in latin
letter) in the
follwong order (two
words - Name
Surname).
4. During the
registration you may
encounter the
situation when
ACTWIT's email
notification go to a
"Spam" folder. To
have these mails
directly in your
normal inbox folders
please gor to the
"Spam" folder, find
mails from ACTWIT (
www.actwit.com)
and raise them from
the spam-folder
marking "Not A
Spam". It's also
reccommended to make
filtering of mails
from ACTWIT in the
e-mail program
(service).
