Dear all AIESECers in AIESEC HIT,

This is Ramon Shi, LCP 2013 of AIESEC HIT. It will be a fresh new year in less than an hour. Hereby I feel so honored to write the last email as LCP of our beloved AIESEC HIT.

I have thought of many happy or sad endings of the last day of my term. However it turns out I feel extremely peaceful inside right now. All I have are many thanks and gratitudes.

Firstly and most importantly, I want to thank every amazing individual in my EB Team 2013, Leo, Tina, Jessica, Shengqiu, Lillian,  and also Sharron, Allen, Jasmine and Joshua. We had both good times and bad times, but from now on, we only have wonderful memories. Thanks all of you to make this experience so unparalleled.

I also want to give many thanks to all of you when spend the whole year or part of it with AIESEC HIT, with each one of us. Some of you will still continue creating your AIESEC stories in the coming year, and some of you have begun a life without AIESEC. I wish you all get to witness your own growth from your AIESEC experience, and thanks for your contribution to this organization. Trust me, all the sufferings you've had are not meaningless, the greatness of yourself is just ahead.

Lastly, I want to thank Leo and his EB Team 2014. I feel grateful that you guys are brave and determined enough to take the responsibility to lead AIESEC HIT to a better future. And in return, what you will get will far beyond your imagination, I assure you.

At the end of this email, I would like to share some personal feelings when I look back my 2-year AIESEC experience. As a typical technical background student, I have also had a lot of struggles thinking about whether I should continue my AIESEC way and how it can be aligned with my future development. The answer to this question become more and more clear as time goes by, and I gradually find many reasons for me to stay. But out of all this answers, two of them are extreme crucial for me: 

• AIESEC gives me the opportunity to find out WHO I AM constantly, at such an early age.
  
• AIESEC helps me realize how important it is to cultivate my global competitiveness if I want to make a difference in the future, either in my own technical field or in other ones.
  

And finally I find out, both the two reasons have no relation with AIESEC. And it is also the time I realize why we call AIESEC a "PLATFORM".

Thanks everyone for what you have contributed to AIESEC HIT in the year 2013.

It is a new start for us all, even for those who will become alumni very soon, I do hope you can reflect more on yourself and your whole AIESEC journey and keep those loving memories in mind !

The year 2014 is gonna be a very challenging one, yet it will be more than rewarding to us all. With all the beliefs and dedication, EBT 2014 will together create a better AIESEC HIT with you !
