"I" in IT” is a project which along with two more forms the biggest project of our LC so far- “International Adventure”.
Many prestigious institutions are interested in our “I in IT” project. The top local high schools, AUBG’s Computer Science Club, the Computer systems and technologies Faculty in SWU and the leading IT companies in the region will also take part in the project
“I in IT” is a project that aims to attract international students who study Computers Science and Technologies. The interns will teach high school students who study IT as a special subject in school. They will cooperate with students from both universities in Blagoevgrad. This project is very important for our local environment because the selected international students will give young people in Blagoevgrad the opportunity to enrich their knowledge in the IT field in a way that is both innovative and interesting. As a result they will have the chance to learn about a different culture and to gain more experience.
There are also be some exciting events planned. The Opening and Closing events of the “International Adventure” project will also be attended by the 12 interns. There will be a seminar + Business in Practice as well where AIESEC IT Alumni, professors and students from the two universities, representatives of the leading IT companies in the region and others will be invited. There will be some smaller events organized as well.
Beyond the main framework of the "I in IT”, the project will have positive impact on the local community as an example of cultural diversity and thus will challenge the global thinking of the participants.
