...use our internal communication mailing groups correctly and efficiently.

Why do we have internal communication channels?
  • "The main purpose of formal internal communications is to inform employees or members of the direction and performance of the organization (and/or team) to which they belong."
  • In order to be up to date with what is going on in the organisation
  • For easier/faster "mass" communication
Right now we are receiving around 20 emails daily only from our internal communication groups. Therefore, there are some rules that we have to apply in order to use our mailing lists properly and not spam ourselves anymore. We should use these email addresses to facilitate our work and be more productive.

  • all emails sent to the National Group should be written in English (because we are an international organisation and because we have members that don't speak Spanish)
  • on the group, we only send the emails that can enter in the category of news that concerns the entire AIESEC country: "News is the communication of information on current events which is presented by printbroadcastInternet, or word of mouth to a third party or mass audience."
  • you will receive on news emails regarding local, national, international conferences application process, events, local meetings, elections etc from the MC team
  • get feedback from the MC on the emails that you send to this group before you send the e-mail
  • members subscribed to this group are: AIESEC DR members, AIESEC DR Alumni

  • all emails sent to Trainees group have to be written in English (because we are an international organisation, because we have members that don't speak Spanish and because we have trainees subscribed on this list)
  • on the group, we only send the emails that can enter in the category of news that concerns the trainees (eg: cultural nights, cultural events, LC meetings etc)

  • all emails sent to EPs group should be written in English (because we are an international organisation, because we have members that don't speak Spanish and because we have trainees subscribed on this list)
  • on the group, we only send the emails that can enter in the category of news that concerns the EPs (eg: internships, cultural events, LC meetings etc)

  • each LC will decide together with its EB and Communication team the rules for using their group

  • each EB team will create the rules for using their group

  • All emails sent to the MC group should be written in English (because we are an international organisation and because we have members that don't speak Spanish)
  • on this group, you  can send the emails that can enter in the category of news that concerns the MC or anything that you want to communicate with the MC team of AIESEC Dominican Republic
