[IMP]2009 Fall EP RIC OCP Application Open!

Hey AIESEC!

Just can't wait to open the position of 2009 Fall EP RIC OCP(Northen Region)! Conference OCP and OC experience, as most of us have seen in Spring, is an unreplaceble experience in one's life. For our LC, it is also lucky to be the RIC host twice a year. Because of the fabulous work in Spring, people showed strong confidence in the BJTU-made conference. Exceed their expectations! Who, will lead the new legend for AIESEC BJTU next? 

Do not be hesitate to raise your hand, but carefully go through the Job Description attached will help you win this valuable potition!

Here is some breif information in the job description:

 Responsibility 1 : To find the venue for conference

 Responsibility 2 : To recruit, select  OC

 Responsibility 3 : To lead and coordinate OC

 Responsibility 4: To communicate with conference manager and chair

 Responsibility 5: To ensure financial budget of conference is healthy

 Responsibility 6: To find sponsors to decrease the delegate fee and allow a maximum of member to participate

 Responsibility 7: To do the conference promotion amongst LC’s

 Responsibility 8: To deal with delegate (reservation, delegate package, meals, …)

Basic requirements of OCP candidates: Strong motivation and committment                                                

                                                   National/Regional Conference experience required                                             

                                                   At least 10 hours conference work per week during September and the end of Conference(27th Oct or 31th Oct), onsite working one day before and during the conference

                                                   Intensive leadership/team work experience preferred

Hey people，

       在我军训的前一天我想我应该写这封邮件给你们。当我得知我们LC又要host RIC的时候说实话很是激动。去年的Natco上UIBE说他们举办的conference质量很高，所以MC把EP RIC交给了他们。现在MC把EP RIC交给了我们，我想大家都很明白MC的意思。我也相信大家有信心举办这次成功的RIC。

       OC的经历，OCP的经历我觉得是我大学2年来，最为值得纪念的。这是一次特殊的journey, 从我自己来看，我觉得举办一次conference相当于一次小小的创业。这是一此多么好的机会，你不用去担心人力，不用去担心财力，而且还有人给你指导。在现在的社会上你还能从哪里得到这样的机会。上次的RIC结束陈严告诉我说“你终于实现了你那些稀奇古怪的想法“ 当时我是多么的高兴。相信大家一定有梦想，RIC OC是一个可以在短时间内实现你梦想的地方，是一个检验，实践你伟大想法的地方。同时你能学到很多东西：

                                                         危机意识在RIC OC工作中的重要性

                                                         创业家精神在RIC OC工作的体现

                                                         海星模式在非营利性组织中的成功运行

                                                         海星模式在RIC Conference中的先锋作用

                                                         避免自我意识在RIC工作中的滋长

                                                         RIC OC管理模式及信任建立

                                                         Learning activity的重要性

这些都是我在OC的过程中想到的，意识到得一些东西。他们可能在我未来的工作或者有一天创业的过程中帮助我少走弯路。不知道有多少人能想起我们在RIC最后舞台上的那首音乐，我想那是我一生中最有故事的音乐。每次听到那首音乐，每次在网上看到有关RIC的视频，我又能想起我们OC一起奋斗的那些日日夜夜。我骂叶双威的日子，我们一起试吃的时光，我们在OC room的快乐时光。也许你参加了很多次的AIESEC conference，但你看到的永远是conference的一个angle.你永远不知道conference team怎么准备session,你永远不知道那些conference背后的东西。多一次经历，多一个故事，我们人生会更加的多彩。OC中的每一个人也会成为你永远的朋友。

       我的语文水平也就这样了，衷心希望大家能够珍惜这次机会。Enjoying a different AIESEC life. It's up to you!
