The Louis Finkelstein Institute for Religious and Social Studies

 presents

“GenNext: Religious Leadership 40 and Under”

               

           

An interreligious panel discussion with: Valarie Kaur (Sikh, law student at Yale and filmmaker), Haroon Moghul (Muslim, PhD student at Columbia University and executive director of the Maydan Institute), and Rabbi Melissa Weintraub (Jewish, cofounder and North American director of Encounter Programs); moderated by Rev. Elizabeth Garnsey (Episcopal priest at Church of the Heavenly Rest, Manhattan).

The discussion will be followed by a live mini-concert (the band: Girls in Trouble, led by poet/songwriter Alicia Jo Rabins) and refreshments.

Soon-to-be rabbis, ministers, priests, imams, doctoral students, lawyers, and other young religious leaders will gather to engage one another, network, and enjoy the 40-and-under community of religious leadership in metropolitan New York.
