Subject:  "Change the Story" Campaign - U.S. Muslim Engagement Project

We Need Images for Changethestory.net

 

We are currently seeking photographs for Changethestory.net – an interactive web and video-based campaign and website that will challenge American perceptions of the Islamic world.  Dozens of organizations interested in social justice and interfaith education have partnered with us to create a thought-provoking multimedia campaign and resource for educators, religious leaders, and people all over the world.

 

Please have full rights to any images you provide to us and give us your name and any links you want us to attach to your credit.  You will be listed on the site as a campaign supporter, if appropriate. 

 

Below is a list of specifics images we are looking for, or any combination of these images.  Despite the controversial nature of some images we're asking for, they will all be tastefully used in video and thematically in the campaign website. 

 

1. the Koran
2. the Bible
3. the Torah
4. Historically significant Muslim people
5. Mosques or other architectural structures built by Muslims
6. Muslim Americans in any context
7. Muslim people in any context
8. Ethnically diverse Muslims
9. Muslims in protest
10. Women in burkas
11. American or Foreign flag burnings
12. Scenes of peaceful protest
13. Scenes of violent protest or terrorism
