We will be hosting our second Career Event this year with Francesco Addis, who will share his experiences at the World Bank and explore career opportunities at the Bank.

Francesco is the manager of the Young Professional Program at the World Bank.  His background is in transportation engineering and infrastructure economics.  He joined the World Bank as a young professional in 1997. He has since held various positions in the Bank, including Project Manager in the East Asia and Africa regions and Operations Officer in the Finance and Planning department where he led key components of the reform of the internal resource management processes.  Before joining the Bank, he worked as a transport planner in several Eastern European countries and later moved to Angola where he worked for the European Commission on infrastructure projects.  More recently he joined, on external service basis, the African Development Bank in Tunis where he worked as Principal Strategy Management Officer in the office of the president.  He holds Master of Science degrees from the University of Rome and the London School of Economics.
