Come out to support this great event!!

Acumen Fund, headquartered in New York City, exists to help end poverty by changing how the world addresses it.  Using entrepreneurial approaches, our vision is that one day every human being will have access to the critical goods and services they need.  DC for Acumen, a volunteer-run chapter which supports Acumen Fund’s mission by actively championing and fundraising to support Acumen Fund's innovative model of investing patient capital in enterprises that solve the problems of poverty, will be hosting the Dignity DC: A Photography Exhibit & Auction on Thursday, March 31, from 7-9 p.m. at the following location:

Studio Gallery

2108 R Street NW, Dupont Circle

Washington, DC

For this event, we will be partnering with the Nuru Project, which has done an ongoing series of Dignity auctions to leverage photography for social change in the developing world.  They focus on raising charitable funds and public awareness through auctioning donated photographs at gallery exhibitions, and have raised more than $80,000 through photo auctions across the world.

This tremendous event will provide a rousing evening of art curated by Nuru Project, music, cocktails, and hors d’oeuvres; all while hearing the inspiring story of Acumen Fund, and browsing and bidding on beautiful photography for auction. We hope you will help support the DC for Acumen Chapter in our goal to raise $10,000 to support Acumen Fund's vision to empower every human being to have access to the critical goods and services they need – including affordable health, water, housing, energy, agricultural inputs and service.

Tickets-$50; $100 for VIP Private Auction Tour. For tickets: www.bitly.com/dignitydc
