You Are (Especially) Invited to the Capital Cause Young Professionals Industry Brunch:This
event, which will host DC's Young Power Players, Philanthropists, and the Nation's Next Leaders will connect people from nearly 15 different industries over brunch with special guests from:
Washington Life Magazine, The White House,
Uptown Magazine, DC Small Business Center,
National Football League Players Association, Macy's,
Walmart, DKW Communications, and
Booz Allen Hamilton (just to name a few)! Here is a perfect opportunity to find a job by connecting with an insider, meet a new friend, or find a lunch buddy.
Capital Cause will also feature a JOB WALL with employment opportunities being offered by some of our sponsors and special guests!
This event also has an interactive charitable purpose! Each attendee will decide - via online voting - how Capital Cause allocates $1,000 grant and 100 public service hours gifted from your generous contribution. The two benefiting nonprofits will be Lifting Voices and Capital Partners for Education, but YOU choose who benefits from what gift!
The event is only $35.00 (and $30.00 if you are a graduate student or work in the educational field). This buys you:
- Full Brunch Buffet (with vegetarian options);
- Access to Mimosa Bar;
- Premium Networking Opportunities with 150 Other Young Professionals;
- Access to Our Pre and Post Networking Reception; and
- A Vote to Decide which Educational Nonprofit (Lifting Voices or Capital Partners for Education) Receives a Capital Grant ($1,000) or a Cause Grant (100 Public Service Hours).
Whew! That's a lot. And...
if you purchase your ticket by Sunday, April 4, 2011.
..you get FIRST OPTION in choosing your seating for the brunch. This means, you won't have to tackle your fellow young professional to get a seat at the Macy's Table, the Booz Allen Hamilton table or at the Uptown Magazine table. All other seating will be open.
