We would like to draw your attention to the possibility of following our course on Rights based approach to food and nutrition security which will be held in Wageningen from 09 - 20 January 2012..

The course is designed for policy and planning staff at a national and sub-national level, staff working at management and coordination level, staff working in action-oriented research, advisory and teaching positions directly relevant to food and nutrition security, and representatives of civil society involved in a rights based approach to address food and nutrition insecurity who are interested in different concepts used in the right to food approach, lobby and advocacy, and developing and intervention using a rights based approach to address food and nutrition insecurity.

For more information about the course programme and online application for this course we refer to our website: http://www.cdi.wur.nl/UK/newsagenda/agenda/Rights_based_approach_to_food_and_nutrition_security.htm

For this course Netherlands government (NFP) fellowships are available. Please note that the application procedure has been changed.

NFP candidates must apply to Wageningen UR Centre for Development Innovation for admission to the training. Acceptable candidates will receive a letter informing them if they have been admitted.

In order to receive an NFP fellowship you have to apply through the Scholarship online (Sol).

Applications should be submitted to Wageningen UR Centre for Development Innovation before 1 May 2011.

We would very much appreciate your assistance in informing persons within your organisation and network who you think may be interested in this opportunity.

Thank you in advance for your time and effort. We apologise for any cross posting.

With kind regards,

Dear Dr. Isangula,

Greetings from Karagwe. I do not remember if I have registered for the AIDS
CANDLELIGT Memorial events. Last year I did tremendous job having live
programs from Shinyanga all relayed live via FADECO RADIO in addition to our
local events.

Resources are making it difficult for me to organise such an event this
year. I am wondering if you have sources of support particularly for media
coverage via radio in terms of airtime, etc.

Otheriwse, I am thinking of having a one day seminar with represetatives of
the PLWAs working groups in Karagwe (about 24), campaigning on radio for
like 7 days prior to the candlelight memorial day, and a live covrage of
events from where you will be, etc.

Adise me on this.

regards,
