Hi everyone!
The THRA event organizing committee is very proud and excited to invite you to the first THRA Harm Reduction Workers Forum!
We have some amazing panelists lined up, including folks from Native Youth Sexual Health Network, BlackCAP, PASAN, Maggie's, Sistering, COUNTERfit, McEwan House and more!
The forum will be held at the Steelworker's Hall on Friday, April 4th, from 9:30-4. The target audience is front-line harm reduction workers - and this most especially includes people who are classified as 'peer' workers as well as workers who are currently not employed. If you run a program that employs people with lived experience, we are strongly encouraging you to try to find some money to pay your workers to attend if at all possible.
The event is not intended for managers.
Check out the poster for more details, including registration info (there is a phone number to call to register). The event is free and includes food and TTC for workers who need it.
For any questions that are not about registration, folks can email thral...@gmail.com.
Please feel free to forward this to anyone you know who might be interested.
Hope to see you all there!
Rhiannon
