New resource tracking report on HIV prevention research out

Colleagues,

I hope you are all doing well. With all the HIV prevention research news coming out of the IAS conference this week (twitter hash tag #IAS2011), a new report released today that tracks global spending in HIV investments in biomedical HIV prevention research from public, philanthropic and commercial sectors could have many uses for our organizations, for policymakers and other stakeholders.

We encourage everyone to read and utilize the report – Capitalizing on Scientific Progress: Investment in HIV Prevention R&D in 2010 – which is the 7th annual report from the HIV Vaccines and Microbicides Resource Tracking Working Group. The Working Group is composed of AVAC, IAVI, the International Partnership for Microbicides (IPM), and UNAIDS.
