We have seen progress in the AIDS response, but many challenges remain. That’s why we call on you today to commit to #CrowdOutAIDS in this generation! Here's how to get involved:
Help raise HIV knowledge
Only a minority of young people today have adequate knowledge about HIV. Can you answer five basic questions about how HIV prevented? Test your self, and challenge your friends to help raise knowledge and awareness:
Put youth on the map
On World AIDS Day, we will launch a “crowd mapping” application where youth activist and youth organizations can sign up for future collaboration with UNAIDS. Register yourself and/or your organization and share the application with your networks:
Host a CrowdOutAIDS offline Open Forum
Over 170 volunteers have already registered around the world to host an offline Open Forum. This is an opportunity to meet with young people in your community, discus key issues, and report back to UNAIDS to inform its new strategy on HIV and young people that truly responds to the realties of young people.
Everything you need to host an offline Open Forum is available here.
