You all are aware that our volunteer coordinator "Linkan Subudhi" had a life threatening experience in Sepetember 2013 while saving one under age girl from getting married with a more than 12 years older lad .This Guy hit Linkan so severely that only after staying in ICU for 5-6 days She actually could come out of Danger .The Whole Incident and the story behind it ,The Story of our very own "Prayas" has been telecasted by Sony TV in Crime Patrol in two episode . "सुबी" सकपकाते हुए फोन पर बोली "सरजी झुग्गी में सब लोग कह रहें हैं की लिंकन दीदी अब दुनिया में नहीं रही " पीछे से करीब 5-6 बच्चों के चिंघाड़ के रोने की आवाज आ रही थी ...एक क्षण के लिए मैं भी सकपकाया और सम्हलते हुए जोर से डांटा "कौन फैला रहा है ये सब,लिंकन ICU में है और बहुत जल्द ठीक हो जायेगी .." सच बोलूं तो हम सब लोग घबरा गए थे ,हिल गए थे भीतर तक
..समाजिक परिवर्तन के एवज में इतनी बड़ी कीमत देनी पड़ेगी कभी कोई सोच भी नहीं सकता था ..सोना का बाल विवाह रोकने में हम लोग इससे पहले दो बार सफल हो चुके थे ..लिंकन इस प्रकरण में हमेशा आगे रही ..चाहे वो बिहार में DM से बात करना हो या सोना की माँ को समझाना ..चाहे पुलिस बुलाना हो या उस लड़के को हडकाना हो जो सोना से शादी करना चाहता था ..और उस मनहूस दिन लिंकन पर उस लड़के का जानलेवा हमला हम सब को भीतर तक हिला गया ..सच बोला जाए तो प्रयास के बच्चे,उनके माँ बाप और हमारे सारे वोलण्टीयर की ही दुवाएं लिंकन को मौत के करीब से वापस ले आयी थी ... करीब 8 महीने हो गये हैं उस घटना को ..जिसमे से निकलकर Linkan आज सबके लिये प्रेरणा साबित हो रही है ,और हम सबका "प्रयास" जारी है ..

Your mail is a bit awkward and interesting as well .While reading your mail I noticed that you have marked almost all the AID-NCR google groups .This showcases that AID is not just a volunteer movement but it has a never lasting impact on each volunteer who connects with it ever .Aid continues within us always ..:)
