Call for support for AID Gurgaon (Website)

Dear All, 

Its been almost 12 years that all of us tried in various capacities and roles to develop AID Gurgaon Chapter.

Lot of things have changed for good in all these years, be it in our personal lives, career pursuits or relocation to new places we adopted as home. Even the dusty Gurgaon city we started with changed so much ! But the thing which have not changed is our commitment for cause of AID, belief in volunteering and belief in whatever little we are doing in an imperfect organisation, which is still function and delivering on its objectives :)..

During all these years we have seen may ups and downs in our projects , crunch of funds and crunch of volunteers but every time we gave a call to volunteers and we overcame those obstacles. The crisis was at peek post 2010 after which we reluctantly registered AID Gurgaon Chapter as a registered trust with in Gurgaon City Administration. This made lot of administrative coordination easier for us as we grew as an organisation. Since then a very stable team of some stable core volunteers have been ensuring operational and financial continuity. But now they need some help !

As we have seen many times, the number of new volunteers have fallen a lot and one main reason that we lost our website (domain) and we are just restricted to social media outreach. I have acquired the https://aidgurgaon.org domain again to rebuild our website and I shall be managing it going forward. 

1. So in order to build up new website I need some content like your brief bio, picture and old pictures at projects. 

2. You may also send me a small write up for our "Volunteer Speak " Section.  You may share your volunteering experience with other organisation during all these years or you can write about volunteering, corporate social responsibility etc.,

3. Any one willing to volunteer again in any capacity, please write to me.
