Hello again!

It's time for another update from Aid & Abet. As many of the exciting speakers on our ever-expanding roster prepare for upcoming tours and projects we are gearing up for a busy fall season. But for now, it's still summer so we'll keep this short and sweet...

First, we would like to enthusiastically welcome radical artist Peter Kuper as the latest addition to the Aid & Abet roster! Peter is the co-founder of World War 3 Illustrated and will be offering multimedia events throughout the US starting in September to coincide with the release of his new book Diario de Mexico: A Sketchbook Journal of Two Years in Oaxaca (PM Press). Information for some of his East Coast dates can already be found on our website with more in the works. Contact Jen now if you are interested in booking Peter this fall!

Men and Feminism (Seal Press) author Shira Tarrant also has east coast readings scheduled for the fall, in New York, Philadelphia, and Washington, DC. Get in touch if you would like to bring Shira to your school and please look back for updates to her schedule.

Malik Rahim, co-founder of Common Ground Relief Collective in New Orleans, is available this fall to present on the following topics: COINTELPRO, Katrina-style; Racial Currents in post-Katrina New Orleans; and Still Going Strong: The Current Work of Common Ground Relief. Contact Justine now to book Malik anywhere in the US.

Robert Hillary King completed a successful spring tour after the release of his autobiography From the Bottom of the Heap (PM Press) about his experience as the only freed member of the Angola 3. King will be on the road again in September with speaking events scheduled in Fairfax, VA, Baltimore, and DC. Get in touch for more info or if you would like bring him to your town.

A couple of mini-tours are on the horizon for Anne Elizabeth Moore. In late September she will be traveling through the heart of the Midwest with stops in St. Louis, Bloomington and Carbondale, IL, Louisville, KY, and Champaign-Urbana. In October she will be on the east coast for a week. Get in touch with Matt to bring her to your school or community space.

Artist Cristy C. Road will be traveling throughout Europe in September with Sister Spit: The Next Generation before returning to the States for a tour of the South in late October through November. Book an event for Cristy today!

Sabrina Chapadjiev is also available to present a number of different workshops based on her acclaimed book Live Through This: On Creativity and Self Destruction, throughout the fall in the Northeast. Contact Matt to set up a workshop with Sabrina on your campus.

That's it for now! Make sure to keep checking back on our website for the most up-to-date tour information and for new additions to our fantastic roster.

Until next time...enjoy the summer!
