Greetings from Gudalur 

Coffee is one of the many crops grown by the adivasis of the Gudalur valley in the Nilgiri Hills, Tamilnadu. As small, marginal farmers, they are often short-changed in terms of weight and price. Worse, many are induced into taking cash advances during the lean season only to part with the coffee at throwaway prices at peak price. 

We have started Adivasi Kappi Society this to tackle this by intervening in the market and creating linkages.
