New courses

Hi all,

I've enrolled in Udacity's "programming a robotic car" subject. I'm also enrolled currently in ml-class, but I'll drop it if there's an overlap (one subject at a time is more than enough for me!).

Is anyone else going on to further study?

I am planning on doing more courses. Last semester I did ML and AI.

I have Sebastian Thrun's book. If the book is any guide I would *not* expect a lot of overlap between ML and ST's course.

By the way the ML course was really brilliant! I am currently working on implementing some of the things I learned in my investing strategies.

I'm also thinking of doing two of these three Probabilistic Graphical Models, Model Thinking and Sebastian's course on Robot Cars,

Tim, do you have any interest in robotics? I am (very slowly) putting together a basic two-wheel bot, hoping to make a basic mapping-and-exploring bot.

The last I've heard the stanford courses have been postponed until further notice, so not sure what is happening with those

Yes I am interested in Robotics. I have bought an Arduino kit but done nothing with it so far - I got sidetracked by the AI & ML courses.
