TLDR: 2pm Saturday Melbourne Uni ERC. On entry across the floor and slightly to your left is a group of group study cubicles. They are unbookable and unlikely to be busy according to the librarian. Call if you are having trouble finding us.
Map is here
http://www.pcs.unimelb.edu.au/__data/assets/pdf_file/0014/151052/Map_2011_rev27.pdfERC is at J19 - building 171. It closes at 5pm.
Possible Agenda:
I suggest we go through anything anyone has had trouble with, focusing on issues related to the homework. We can work through problems similar to the homework without actually doing the homework.
Eg for deciding on the characteristics of a game we could go through a few games different to peg-solitaire.
Share tricks and traps eg one question asks how many nodes are *expanded* not *created*.
The Search:
I spent a fair bit of time looking around. RMIT; no chance, all project rooms booked out. They also have locks so even if not booked out you can't use them.
Same deal at Melbourne Uni Ballieu Library (study rooms are locked) and the Engineering study centre (no access at all on weekends w/o pass).
If the ERC proves to be not completely satisfactory we could in future meet at my place in Prahran.
It is next to the Frank Tate Centre. If someone can book a room there and get us in (pass required) that may also be an option.
