Hi,

We're writing to let you know of our to-be-published magazine, The Eleve, as we think you'll be interested in joining us in our new venture.

To be introduced in April this year, the magazine would be a webzine 'for the students', and 'by the students'. It would involve compositions that outline creativity, perception, aptitude and talent of students nationwide.

We are in the process of screening writers, and are looking for students from selected elite institutions across the country. Based on our research, you have been shortlisted as one of the candidates for selection.

The Eleve

It's difficult to pick up magazines these days and not read about yet another scandal, calamity or 'revolution'. While we do respect the initiatives taken by some of them to solve social problems through their editions, we feel there is a need for a forum that, at its very core, simply showcases the artistic and perceptive talent among the future flag bearers of the country, something untouched by the reality and rigors of the world as we know today.

The Eleve, to be introduced online in April, would be a magazine featuring articles, photographs and strips composed by a dedicated and literary gifted group of students, and would feature one edition (uploaded online at www.theeleve.com) every month.

As mentioned, only students from elite institutions nationwide would contribute as writers, making it the first online magazine of its kind in India.

Procedure to Apply:

The team (still to be finalized), would consist of 50 odd students from selected elite organizations throughout India, such as the IITs, BITS Pilani, St. Stephens and SRCC. The number is expected to vary, depending on the talent we attract in the coming months.

If you are interested in joining us, please find enclosed the format for application. You can fill in the details and mail us the completed form at edi...@theeleve.com . We will entertain applications submitted by March 02, 2011.

Additionally, we have also attached a brief presentation on our magazine. The presentation details the application process to be followed, in addition to providing a brief insight into the magazine structure.

Should you have any questions, feedback, or suggestions, feel free to reach us at in...@theeleve.com .

We look forward to your participation,

Regards,

The Eleve team
