Dear reader,
We present you with a selection of last week articles published at alternativenews.org, a news website maintained by the Alternative Information Center (AIC) and dedicated to promote a joint Palestinian-Israeli struggle and opposing actions that "normalise" Israel's occupation policies that present the Israeli-Arab conflict as one of conflicting narratives.
You can support us and support the struggle:

The Alternative Information Center (AIC) invites media submissions from Palestinian, Israeli and international activists, non-corporate journalists and activist-analysts.

The AIC is the change you want to see in the Middle East. The AIC and its message have remained relevant through radical changes in the local, regional and global arenas. The AIC proves that Palestinians, Israelis and internationals can indeed work together to make a difference.

Moreover, the report indicates that Israel's poor population has grown more than in any other OECD nation; Israel's poverty level has exceeded that of Mexico, whose poverty rate stands at 20.4%.

Jordanian Islamic academic Ishaq Farhan appealed on Sunday to Jordan's King Abdullah to take urgent action in protecting Al-Aqsa Mosque. Palestinian children endangered by army
At-Tuwani - On the morning of Monday, October 21, the Israeli army escort that usually accompanies Palestinian children from the villages of Tuba and Maghayir Al-Abeed to their school in At-Tuwani failed to arrive. The children were left to walk the longer route, accompanied by two international volunteers, at high risk of being attacked by settlers from the illegal Havat Ma'on outpost and Ma'on settlement.
Artists and farmers from northern West Bank settlements will exhibit their products in Tel Aviv as part of a local government campaign to impact public opinion in the event that a public referendum on the creation of a Palestinian state is held in Israel.
