COTE Members:

I would like to propose that the 2008 Design Awards require basic information on energy performance for projects submitted in all categories involving a building that is regulated under the Title 24 Energy Standards. I've attached a document I would like to bring to the attention of chapter leadership. If there is consensus supporting this, the proposal could come from COTE. If not, I'll submit it as an individual member. Please take a look at the attachment and let me know your thoughts and reaction. This is adapted from a document put together by Henry Siegel of Siegel & Strain Architects. Henry is working with COTE National to make a similar proposal regarding National design competitions.
