The ARE committee had the opportunity to meet Haley for this presentation in February, but if you weren't able to make it please check out the event below.  It was very informative!

The Path to Architectural Licensing in California
When Thu, April 28, 6:00pm – 7:30pm
Where  Wurster Hall, UC Berkeley
RSVP to be sent the room number when it is set.

Presenter: Haley Gipe, Assoc. AIA, LEED AP, IDP State Coordinator AIACC

Choosing Architecture as your career path can include the many paths towards Architectural Licensure. Each State regulates the profession of architecture, granting licensure to practice architecture within their jurisdictions based on their specific requirements. However, all states require satisfaction of education, experience and examination requirements. Becoming a licensed architect in California can be confusing, frustrating, sometimes even time consuming. As an individual in the process, it’s important to understand those requirements and what the path to architecture licensure entails for you.

Haley will also give an overview on the new IDP 2.0 requirements that will become effective in October 2011.

Please RSVP to eve...@aiaeb.org. This is event is free to attend.
