General Meeting #1: Summary

We want to thank all of you who attended our first General Meeting for
making the long trek out to Burdine - we had a great turn out! Just to
follow up on what was discussed:
1.) If you'd like more information on the Business Foundations program, you can email Regina Hughes at regina...@mccombs.utexas.edu or visit the website, http://new.mccombs.utexas.edu/BBA/Business-Foundations.
2.) If you'd like to join a committee or would just like more information about what each committee does, visit http://www.ae.utexas.edu/~aiaa/about.html.
3.) We mentioned at the meeting that we'll be taking a trip to Johnson Space Center. For those of you unfamiliar with this facility, it's located in Houston and is responsible for training astronauts, handles mission control, and has lots of exhibits about the history of space flight. For more information, visit http://www.nasa.gov/centers/johnson/home/index.html. The tentative date for this trip is located on the calendar.
4.) Interested in playing intramural sports with other Aerospace Engineers? Email Cat Howard at cah...@mail.utexas.edu to let her know which sport you'd like - it's up to you!
5.) Our next meeting is February 16th, but you already knew that because you check the calendar. Right??
6.) The AIAA Website is located at http://www.ae.utexas.edu/~aiaa/index.html. Bookmark it so that you can stay up to date - this is where we have our calendar, as well as post information about past meetings, upcoming meetings, and social events.
