Sorry for the late notice, but if you have an interest in how websites
work and are familiar with the AIAA SF website at
http://www.aiaa-sf.org, then this may be a good opportunity for you. It says, in part:
"Maintainers of the AIAA SF website will host a web-centric meeting on
Wednesday, May 21, at Tied House, 954 Villa St., Mountain View. Corky
Lakin is the organizer. Rick Kwan has lots of info, strange ideas,
and opinions. :-) [I do; I listen a lot, too.] You can let Corky
know you're coming at: webmaster(at)
aiaa-sf.org. "
A new Google group, devoted to AIAA SF web and related issues has been
started at: http://groups.google.com/group/aiaa-sf-web
Right now, membership on the list is wide open. When we start getting
spammed, we'll close it.
I have posted a message about the meeting in the new group. It
includes a brief technical description of site (Apache and Linux
versions, etc.). I can answer more questions about the site in that
group.
