This particular thread will include "Job Postings for 2007 Q1".

Job opportunities are sometimes sent to certain AIAA section
officers by companies and recruiters. Knowing what we do about
the employment situation in Silicon Valley and the unique skill
set of the AIAA membership, we feel that we ought to pass the
credible ones along to members.

Things you should know about this... As volunteers,
* we cannot screen on the opportunities presented to us; we don't
endorse the offerers; use your discretion accordingly.
* we cannot spend a lot of time formatting or editing information.
* we do not want to degenerate to being a mouth-piece for selected
organizations.
* we don't want this news group to be innudated by job postings
such that other items get lost in the noise.

On the other hand, looking for aerospace-related jobs can be
hard, and our audience is certainly more interested in aerospace
than is the audience of CareerBuilder, Monster, or Dice.

Based on the experience of other non-profit groups, job
postings can only be posted by councilmembers of AIAA SF.
Any else who posts will risk being banned from this group.
If we receive too many opportunities, we will stop this and
perhaps try something else. But it takes volunteer initiative
to come up with and implement other ideas.
